FNPS has some specific requirements for all FNPS websites regardless of who hosts them. They are simple and they make common sense.
Have an FNPS logo on the site. It does not need to be huge. Most themes put one in for you, either in the footer or in the sidebar. If you want it somewhere else, contact the WebTeam. Never alter the FNPS logo -- multiple versions can be downloaded from https://fnps.org/society/logos and if you understand how to use an SVG file, we recommend that one. Otherwise, use the one that best fits your size needs.
Have a Join link that is obvious. This is usually in the sidebar. This link is extremely critical since this is how your chapter gets members! This link should be https://fnps.org/join.
Use and display the TeamUp calendar. FNPS pays for this advanced calendar system. It support repeated events and multi-day events, whole day events, and shorter events. It also shares your chapters events with the rest of FNPS (via the calendar on FNPS.org) and brings people to your events. https://fnps.org/events/calendar. There are a few chapters that are grandfathered in to other calendars -- but only because they had those calendars before FNPS decided that a unified calendar system was needed, and those grandfathered calendars have the ability to share their information with TeamUp.
